POSITION The polysomnographic technologist works under the supervision of the manager of pulmonary services. He/she possesses the knowledge, attributes, and skills to obtain interpretable records of patients' nervous systems functions and is capable of assuming the responsibility for the care of cardiophysiology patients (newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and special needs) MINIMUM EDUCATION: Registered two-year degree respiratory therapist or EEG experience MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: One to two years of clinical experience in the performance of sleep testing REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/
