Evaluates, administers and monitors prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved psychiatric nursing techniques in both individual and group medication sessions; explains procedures and treatments to client and client's family; educates clients about prescribed medications including dosage, possible side effects, and proper storage and disposal in individual and group medication monitoring sessions. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Associate of Arts Degree in Nursing is required; two or more years experience in a mental health/psychiatric setting is highly preferred Will consider a qualified RN or LPN for this position.
