The staff nurse is a registered professional nurse who is responsible for the delivery of nursing care to the patients on his/her assigned unit during a given period of time. Delivery of patient care is performed through the utilization of the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. In addition, he/she is responsible for the direction and supervision of personnel assigned to him/her. Associates/Bachelor's in Nursing; minimum 1 - 2 years Emergency experience. Current Illinois RN licensure; ACLS, PALS, CPR certification.
