PRIMARY FUNCTION: Initiates/provides specialized nursing care for mildly to critically ill patients in the Emergency Room which has 24 hour on site physician coverage The scope of care includes orthopedic, trauma and cardiac emergencies, COPD and other medical emergencies Monitors patient having endoscopy Utilizes the nursing process in the delivery of care.
