Support Nurse for PICC Coverage

Provide PICC coverage and related services minimally one day per week and during the absences of the Metabolic Support Nurse Responsibilities will include: PICC insertion and care; management of other central venous catheter access, maintenance, and troubleshooting issues; home I.V. infusion teaching; and serve as a resource for staff development issues related to venous access. Will be working up to 1day/week in role. Hours may be in addition to or as part of current scheduled hours, but total hours not to exceed 40 hours/week. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years Critical Care or Medical-Surgical nursing experience BSN preferable Must be able to demonstrate proficient I.V. skills.
