JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Provides a variety of Diagnostic Ultrasound procedures (invasive and non-invasive), interpret a variety of ultrasound examinations ranging from routine OB/GYN, abdomen, small parts; to intracavity and color doppler; to a variety of biopsies. Calibrates and operates equipment and develops films. Staff members will be responsible for the care of all patients, age 0 to 100 years old. Each staff member will rely on their past experiences, as well as their professional training with the geriatric and pediatric patient, to meet these standards. Staff training will be reinforced by the following methods; continuing education for licensure, video presentations (both in the hospital and outside), seminars and conferences addressing geriatrics, adolescents and infants. The evaluation of performance in handling these patients will be evaluated on a yearly basis, in conjunction with the yearly job performance evaluation.
